Stabbing Incident at Bono’s Hollywood Hills Property

Must Read

U2’s lead singer, Bono, has a posh investment property in the Hollywood Hills where a disturbing stabbing incident took place. Emergency services swiftly responded to the Hollywood Hills location associated with the 65-year-old musician, a reported co-owner of the upscale property that is still under construction.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed their prompt reaction to a 911 call around 1:20 pm PT, launching an ongoing investigation as per reports by TMZ. Photographs from the Daily Mail reveal numerous police vehicles stationed at the entrance of the residence’s lengthy driveway on the hillside.

The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatched both a fire engine and an ambulance to the site, with a helicopter observed circling above. Details regarding the alleged incident are currently murky. The property, considered an active construction site, was not anticipated to be occupied other than by contractors at the time.

Contrary to speculation, TMZ indicated that Bono was not present during the occurrence and is presently located outside the United States. Sources informed the Daily Mail that the singer is among several investors with financial interests in the property, which is privately available for sale and not listed on the Multiple Listing Service.

Real estate professionals in Los Angeles are reportedly discreetly showcasing the home to potential buyers. Unveiled in November 2023, the residence, an architectural gem overlooking Fairfax Avenue with sweeping views of the Hollywood basin, was crafted by architect Noah Walker and developed by Plus Development Group. The latter was co-founded by Tyrone McKillen, the son of Bono’s longtime business partner, Paddy McKillen.

Bono and Paddy, who jointly own a whiskey distillery in Ireland, have engaged in various ventures together. Bono was seen inspecting the property multiple times in 2023 to monitor construction progress, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The house features a distinctive triangular-shaped main building, a multi-level guesthouse, and a lengthy pool adjacent to the main structure.

During his publicized investment, Bono was actively performing with U2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, concluding a 40-date residency in March 2024 that reportedly generated around $1 million per concert. Following the residency, Bono maintained a low profile, releasing the documentary “Bono: Stories of Surrender” in May 2025, premiering at the Cannes Film Festival.
