Max Verstappen’s Net Worth Soars to £230 Million

Must Read

Max Verstappen’s fortune has surged by around £44 million in the last year, elevating his total net worth to nearly £230 million. The Red Bull Racing driver has made notable progress in the Quote 500, a compilation of the wealthiest individuals in the Netherlands, advancing from 322nd place to 264th this year.

Despite celebrating his 28th birthday in late September, Verstappen retains the distinction of being the youngest person on the list since his debut in 2022, where he became the youngest ever included. Initially ranked 500th with a net worth slightly over £105 million, Verstappen’s rapid ascent saw him climb to 428th place the following year and soar 106 spots last year.

This year’s list requires a net worth of just under £123 million for entry, with notable absences like Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. Forbes ranked Verstappen as the 25th highest-paid athlete globally this year, earning close to £59 million, primarily from his salary and winnings, complemented by £4.5 million from endorsements.

In comparison, Lewis Hamilton occupies the 22nd spot on the list with earnings exceeding £60 million, boosted by £15 million in endorsements. Aston Martin reportedly offered Verstappen a massive £750 million deal, which he acknowledged as “a lot of money.” However, Verstappen has affirmed his commitment to Red Bull, signing a contract extension until 2028 worth around £40 million annually.

Sky has reduced prices for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, enabling savings of £192 and expanding the coverage to over 1,400 live matches across various leagues. Sky is set to broadcast a minimum of 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 matches.
