Samsung has unveiled a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, featuring a groundbreaking Privacy Display that sets the S26 Ultra apart from the competition. This innovative feature ensures privacy by making on-screen content invisible to unauthorized viewers. The Privacy Display can be customized to block specific apps or notifications, providing enhanced security for users.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display, using advanced display technology to safeguard user privacy. By controlling how light is dispersed by pixels, the display maintains clarity and brightness for the user while restricting visibility for others.

In addition to the Privacy Display, the S26 Ultra boasts a sleeker design, longer battery life, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. Rapid charging capabilities allow the device to reach 75% battery in just 30 minutes. The smartphone also features an upgraded quad rear camera for improved night photography and enhanced video stabilization.

Like its predecessor, the S26 Ultra includes an S Pen for note-taking on its 6.9-inch AMOLED screen. Joining the Ultra model are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos chip and triple-lens rear cameras.

Samsung has enhanced the smart features of all its new smartphones with a Galaxy AI upgrade, introducing features like Now Nudge, which offers relevant suggestions to users to help them stay focused. The Galaxy S26 can intuitively suggest photos from the Gallery for sharing or recognize calendar entries related to meeting invitations.

The new Samsung Galaxy S26 range comes with a price increase this year. The UK pricing for the models is as follows:

– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
– S26 Plus: 256GB £1,099, 512GB £1,269
– S26 Ultra: 256GB £1,279, 512GB £1,449, 1TB (with 16GB RAM) £1,699

The smartphones are set to hit stores next month, offering users a premium and secure mobile experience.
