A tragic incident occurred in Bonfinopolis, Brazil, where a 17-year-old girl, Nathaly Rodrigues do Nascimento, lost her life due to electrocution caused by a broken power line while crossing the road during heavy rainfall on her way to school. Following the incident, family and friends held a vigil for Nathaly, demanding accountability from Equatorial Goias, the company responsible for managing electricity infrastructure in Goiás. Friends expressed disbelief and anger over what they perceive as negligence leading to the teenager’s untimely death.

In response, Equatorial Goias expressed regret over the accident and pledged to assist the family during this difficult time. The company highlighted its commitment to investigating the causes of the incident in collaboration with authorities and ensuring comprehensive support for the affected family.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event, seeking to uncover the details that led to the unfortunate loss of Nathaly’s life.
