Britney Spears Responds to Ex’s Alarming Claims

Must Read

Britney Spears has addressed the allegations made by her former spouse Kevin Federline in his upcoming memoir, “You Thought You Knew.” Federline claims that their sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, recounted unsettling encounters with their mother during their childhood.

According to Federline’s memoir, there were instances where Spears would silently watch her children sleep, sometimes holding a knife, before leaving without explanation. He expressed concerns about Spears’ deteriorating situation, stating that pretending everything is fine has become impossible.

Federline also voiced worry about the impact of the #FreeBritney movement on their children, urging for support and emphasizing the need to raise awareness. In response to the excerpts from Federline’s book, a representative for Spears emphasized her focus on her children’s well-being amid the sensationalism surrounding the situation.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline tied the knot in 2004 and split in 2007, with their two sons born during their marriage. Their custody arrangements and Spears’ mental health challenges have been widely publicized over the years.

In her own memoir titled “The Woman in Me,” Spears accused Federline of causing emotional harm during their custody battle. The book is due to be released on October 21, and Federline has not made any additional public statements regarding Spears’ remarks.

The Mirror has reached out to Britney’s representatives for their input on this matter.
