Tesco has announced a special promotion for Clubcard members in December, offering two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion is valid throughout the month and applies to all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores.
Customers can earn double points on any gift card purchase, not limited to Tesco gift cards. The bonus points will be automatically credited to their Clubcard account.
According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, the promotion aims to make gift-giving easier during the festive season. By earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful gifts while receiving rewards for themselves.
Tesco has approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various purchases. Clubcard points are earned on groceries, fuel purchases, Tesco Mobile expenses, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage. A minimum of 150 points is required to redeem a £1.50 Clubcard voucher for Tesco shopping.
