A man has tragically passed away after a deliberate house fire in the early hours of the morning, leading to a murder investigation being initiated.
Emergency services responded to a residence in Birmingham at approximately 1:10 am today, discovering the victim, a man in his 30s, who sustained serious injuries. Despite prompt medical attention and transportation to the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
According to a spokesperson from West Midlands Police, the investigation is in its preliminary stages as authorities strive to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
