Danica Moore has been without contact with her 14-year-old daughter Peyton Flett since the evening of June 14th. According to Moore, Flett departed with her grandmother that night to stay over at her aunt’s place. The most recent known sighting of Flett occurred in Prince Albert around June 16th to 17th, specifically in the vicinity of John Diefenbaker School, as well as at the intersection of Marquis Road and Central Avenue.
During this time, Flett was dressed in a gray and red hoodie, paired with blue Christmas-themed pajama pants, and carrying a black fanny pack. Described as Indigenous, standing at approximately five-foot-four and weighing around 115 pounds, Flett has black to reddish hair and brown eyes.
Expressing her longing for Flett’s safe return, Moore emphasized that her family eagerly awaits her homecoming. Moore’s message to Flett, if she happens to hear it, is one of unconditional love and reassurance, urging her daughter to return without fear, emphasizing that she is cherished and not in trouble.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Flett’s whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance to come forward. Major crimes Inspector Lisa Simonson stressed the importance of direct reporting, highlighting that even seemingly minor details could be crucial in tracing Flett’s movements and aiding in her location.
The investigation into Flett’s disappearance is being actively pursued by the major crimes unit due to her age, the time elapsed since her disappearance, and the nature of the case, as stated by Simonson. Specialized in handling intricate cases like missing persons inquiries, the major crimes investigators are dedicated to providing thorough and consistent investigative efforts.
Describing Flett as a gentle spirit who enjoys drawing and spending time with her siblings, Moore reiterated the family’s plea for Flett’s return, emphasizing the void her absence has left. She expressed the family’s longing for Flett’s presence, particularly hoping for her safe return before her upcoming 15th birthday on August 19th.
Moore’s wish is for Flett to be back home, celebrating her birthday surrounded by loved ones, instead of the current anguish of her absence.
