Prince Harry’s visit to the UK has sparked interest, as reports suggest he is gearing up to make a significant announcement during his stay.
The Duke of Sussex arrived in the UK today, flying in from California alone, without his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Although Prince Harry seldom travels from his home in Montecito to his birth country due to ongoing tensions with the British Royal Family, this time he is in London for an event close to his heart – the WellChild Awards.
As a patron of WellChild, Harry participated in the special event celebrating the courage and accomplishments of seriously ill children and their families. Besides this event, he has a busy schedule ahead, including engagements with Children in Need and a substantial donation to the charity supporting underprivileged children in the UK.
Upon his arrival in the UK, Prince Harry first visited his grandmother’s grave in Windsor, where he privately paid his respects inside St George’s Chapel, laying a wreath and flowers. There are speculations that this trip may lead to a long-awaited reunion with his father, King Charles, with a potential meeting being kept confidential.
Despite being in close proximity to his brother, Prince William, today, reports indicate that the two are not on speaking terms. While Prince Harry paid his respects at the late Queen’s grave, Prince William and his wife Kate, the Princess of Wales, were engaged in activities nearby in Windsor Great Park.
