The survey, which involved 1,300 likely voters post-Labor Day weekend, showed that 72% of respondents believe the president should resign in such a scenario.
However, 25% of participants disagreed with this view, while 3% remained undecided. The poll results coincide with concerns raised after President Trump was left speechless in response to death rumors. The White House addressed health concerns following the circulation of troubling photos showing the president’s swollen ankles and bruised hand. It was disclosed that the president has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that affects blood flow to the extremities. Despite the condition being mostly benign, there is the possibility of complications.
Concerns about President Trump’s health varied among different political affiliations. While 58% of Republican voters expressed worries, 35% disagreed, and 8% were unsure. In contrast, 94% of Democratic voters and 76% of Independent voters were concerned about the president’s health.

In contrast, 91% of Republicans dismissed these allegations. Overall, nearly half of respondents did not believe the president is facing mental deterioration.
