“African ‘Kingdom’ Defiant as Court Orders Eviction”

Must Read

The head of a self-proclaimed “African community” residing in the forests of Scotland states that he remains fearless despite a court ruling demanding the removal of their campsite.

Kofi Offeh, self-identifying as King Atehene of the Kubala Kingdom, spoke with the press following the court’s decision at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

He stated, “The one who made the heavens and the Earth is with us. We are not intimidated by whatever the court – or what it claims to be a court – has decreed.”

When confronted about the impending removal due to the court order, he defiantly remarked, “Let them carry out their harshest actions.”

In response to insinuations that their “delusion” was reaching its conclusion, he retorted, “It is not a delusion, but a prophecy. We walk in prophecy and experience it as it unfolds.”

When asked if they intended to relocate, he replied, “If the one who made the heavens and the Earth wills us to depart from this territory, then a new place will be provided for us.”

Jean Gasho, known as Queen Nandi, assured that the group harbors no fear of imprisonment, stating, “We have endured imprisonment for the love of our children; do you believe chains will daunt us?” Subsequently, the group engaged in singing and chanting within the woodland.

The trio comprising the self-proclaimed “kingdom” assert that they are reclaiming land that was taken from their predecessors four centuries ago.

This legal action was initiated after the group disregarded a previous eviction notice, instructing them to vacate their encampment by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 8.

Asnat, the tribe’s attendant, was eventually located after being reported missing from her residence in Texas.
