Must Read

Apple has announced the upcoming release of its latest operating system, iOS 26, scheduled to roll out to devices later this year. This new version introduces a sleek design feature named Liquid Glass, along with a host of new functionalities and enhancements.

Among the key updates are the addition of Call Screening to block unwanted calls and automatic removal of spam texts. Popular apps like Maps and Photos will also receive significant upgrades. Users can now customize alarm snooze durations from 1 to 15 minutes for added flexibility in their daily routines.

While the exact launch date for iOS 26 remains unspecified, it is anticipated to become available on compatible devices in September. Apple has confirmed the availability of a Public Beta starting next month, allowing users to sign up and explore the new features before the official global release.

The company stated that new public betas for various Apple products, including iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, tvOS 26, HomePod software 26, watchOS 26, and AirPods Firmware, will be released soon. By joining the Apple Beta Software Programme, users can contribute feedback to enhance the software before its final release.

Interested individuals can sign up for the beta program to preview and provide feedback on the pre-release software. However, Apple advises against installing the beta on primary devices due to potential bugs and issues. This early testing phase allows Apple to refine the software based on user input.

Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, highlighted the aesthetic enhancements and functional improvements in iOS 26, emphasizing a more personalized user experience. The update promises increased productivity with new Apple Intelligence features integrated throughout the system.

Stay tuned for further updates on the release schedule for the iOS 26 beta version as more information becomes available.
