Must Read

Apple has recently unveiled its annual showcase, featuring the new iPhone Air, which stands out for its ultra-thin design measuring just 5.6mm thick, thinner than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge at 5.8mm. The iPhone Air is targeted towards users seeking a sleek device that fits comfortably in skinny jeans while promising an exceptional user experience.

Equipped with a spacious 6.5-inch display incorporating Super Retina XDR technology and ProMotion for seamless scrolling, the iPhone Air offers ample room for daily digital tasks. Its durable build includes a Titanium frame and Ceramic Shield 2 glass, Apple’s most robust glass yet, ensuring resilience under pressure.

Powering the device is the A19 Pro processor, known for its high performance in handling intensive tasks efficiently. This processor boasts a new 6-core CPU that enhances performance and efficiency, making it the fastest CPU in any smartphone, according to Apple.

The iPhone Air also introduces the N1, a new Apple-designed wireless networking chip enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for enhanced connectivity. Despite featuring a single-lens rear camera and a smaller battery compared to other iPhone models, Apple assures users of advanced photographic capabilities and all-day battery life due to improved efficiency and battery-saving features. Additionally, Apple is set to release a battery pack accessory for extended usage.

With access to MagSafe technology for convenient charging, the iPhone Air offers a blend of power and portability. Priced at £999, the iPhone Air is accompanied by the new iPhone 17, priced at £799, boasting enhanced screen quality, camera improvements, a sturdy design, and fast-charging capabilities powered by the A19 chip.

Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, expressed enthusiasm for the iPhone Air’s design and performance, highlighting its advanced features such as pro performance, a versatile 48MP Fusion camera system, Center Stage front camera, and extended battery life in a futuristic design. The Air, alongside the iPhone 17, represents Apple’s latest innovations in the smartphone market.
