Apple’s services have seen a surge in popularity, as the tech giant celebrates a ‘record-breaking’ year with its audio, TV streaming, and news platforms. Apple Music had a stellar year in 2025, attracting a large number of new subscribers and breaking records for listenership. The service introduced updates like Lyrics Translation and AutoMix to enhance the user experience.

Similarly, Apple TV witnessed a significant increase in user engagement, with a 36% rise in viewing time for popular shows like Slow Horses and The Studio. The platform expanded its content library with new shows and movies like the F1 film featuring Brad Pitt and the acclaimed drama Pluribus.

The App Store also experienced growth, boasting over 850 million weekly users globally. Between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, the store saw a record number of visitors and a surge in customer spending on digital goods and services.

Apple Podcasts had a standout year with record listenership, plays, and subscribers. Apple’s services further expanded with Apple Fitness+ reaching more regions and Apple Arcade adding over 50 new games to its collection.

In addition, Apple enhanced its Share Item Location feature in Find My, partnering with 27 additional airlines to improve luggage tracking. Apple Maps introduced a Detailed City Experience in new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, showcasing 3D landmarks such as a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, described 2025 as a year of significant growth, global expansion, and ongoing innovation for Apple services. The company’s commitment to enhancing user experiences across its various platforms was evident in the enthusiastic response from customers worldwide.
