Chris Eubank Jr has stated that the upcoming fight against Conor Benn has not been finalized yet. The rematch is set to take place on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, seven months after their initial bout where Eubank Jr secured a narrow victory over Benn.
Initially scheduled for September 20, the rematch faced uncertainty when Eubank Jr expressed his readiness issues. Eventually, the two parties reached an agreement. However, Eubank Jr revealed that there are still some unresolved terms in the contract during an interview on Ring Magazine’s Inside the Ring podcast.
Regarding the fight details, both fighters are expected to meet at 160lbs with a 10lb rehydration clause on the morning of the fight, similar to their first encounter. Eubank Jr, who faced dehydration issues after the previous fight, has raised concerns about the rehydration clause. His promoter, Ben Shalom, highlighted the difficulties faced in finalizing the terms and expressed reservations about the clause.
The highly anticipated 12-round middleweight rematch is confirmed for November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. While official timings are yet to be announced, the undercard is likely to start around 5pm UK time, with the main event ringwalks expected around 9:50pm UK time. Broadcast details will be disclosed closer to the event date.
