“Dame Maureen Lipman Considers Cosmetic Procedures”

Must Read

Dame Maureen Lipman recently shared her thoughts on the impact of her role in the popular TV show “Coronation Street” on her consideration of cosmetic procedures. Lipman, who joined the cast in 2018 as Evelyn Plummer, initially appeared on the show as Lillian Spencer.

In a past interview, the 79-year-old actress discussed her appearance and mentioned a desire to address the bags under her eyes after observing them while watching herself on the ITV soap. Lipman indicated that while she hasn’t seriously considered plastic surgery, she might opt to have this particular area addressed.

Despite her dedication to the show, Lipman acknowledged the challenges of acting in a long-running soap opera. Fans noted her absence in recent episodes due to a filming break. She emphasized her commitment to continue acting for as long as there is demand, expressing no immediate plans for retirement.

Regarding the fast-paced nature of soap opera production, Lipman highlighted the rapid turnaround of scenes and limited room for retakes. She explained that the process is akin to radio due to the constant filming schedule.

Lipman’s illustrious career began in 1971 with the National Theatre Company, leading to her television debut in the sitcom “The Lovers” in 1975. She gained recognition with roles in shows like “Agony” and the iconic BT advertisements featuring her memorable “You Got an Ology” catchphrase.
