Desperate Housewives actress Andrea Bowen has revealed that she is expecting a baby. The 35-year-old star, known for her role as Julie Mayer on the ABC series from 2004 to 2012, shared the pregnancy news on Instagram. In her post, she referred to the pregnancy as the “best collab” with her husband Josh Zuckerman, who portrayed Eddie Orlofsky in the sixth season of Desperate Housewives.
Accompanied by several photos, Andrea announced, “[Josh] and my best collab yet – a little girl arriving later this year!” She expressed her joy by adding, “We are bursting with happiness!!!” The images included a snapshot of Andrea at a doctor’s appointment and another of her cradling her baby bump, as well as a picture from their wedding last year.
Josh, who also appeared in shows like 90210, responded to Andrea’s post with a heartfelt message in the comments section. He wrote, “Baby. I’m yours’. And also that baby’s.” Andrea reciprocated with two crying emojis.
Teri Hatcher, 60, who played Andrea’s on-screen mother Susan Mayer on Desperate Housewives, congratulated the couple on Instagram. Teasing about being a “good babysitter,” she shared Andrea’s post on her Instagram Story. Commenting on the pregnancy announcement, Teri humorously mentioned, “Omg … Susan is gonna be a grandma! & Teri is a very good babysitter.” She concluded with, “Congrats you two. Tons of love!”
Teri also left a supportive comment on Andrea’s post, expressing her happiness for the couple. Andrea, who has maintained a close relationship with Teri since the show ended, replied with affectionate words, “Love you love you!”
