The surprise appearance of the Duchess of Sussex at the Balenciaga fashion show in Paris created a buzz, stealing the spotlight with her unexpected presence.
This marked Meghan’s first public visit to Europe in three years, as she has only made a few trips back since relocating to California with her family.
Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan were seen together in New York, where they were honored with a Humanitarians of the Year award at the World Mental Health Day gala.
This public appearance came shortly after Harry’s brief visit to the UK in September, where he reunited with his father, the King, for the first time in almost two years.
Following Meghan’s surprise visit to Paris, speculation has arisen about her potential return to England. Despite security concerns previously cited by Harry hindering their family visits, a new report hints at a possible change in plans.
An undisclosed source, described as a friend of the couple, has disclosed that the duchess is contemplating a return to the UK before 2026.
According to the Daily Mail, the friend stated that “Meghan will return to Britain before the year is out,” humorously suggesting that she will come back “bearing humble pie.”
This alleged plan is part of an effort to improve the strained relationship between the couple and the Royal Family, referred to as ‘Project Thaw’ by some insiders and senior figures.
Despite Harry’s wish for his children to experience their home country, reports suggesting Meghan’s return to England before the New Year have been refuted by the Mirror, leaving the friend’s assertions surrounded by uncertainty.
Harry has expressed discomfort in bringing his family back to the UK since their security privileges were altered when they stepped back from royal duties. Currently, his security arrangements are decided on a case-by-case basis.
After a legal battle with the Home Office, where he lost the right to automatic police security, Harry now relies on his private security team for protection, despite concerns raised during the legal dispute.
Following the legal setback, Harry expressed his reluctance to bring his family back to the UK, considering the security challenges they may face.
During Harry’s recent visit to the UK, a known individual with a history of stalking the Duke was discovered hiding in a London hotel restroom just before his arrival. Security personnel intervened to prevent any potential threats.
According to a source quoted by The Sun, two members of Harry’s staff had to handle the situation when the individual made concerning remarks in the restroom.
