Meghan Markle discreetly introduced a new product to her As Ever collection through a single social media post. The Duchess of Sussex utilized her lifestyle brand’s Instagram page to announce the addition of a 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. The unveiling was subtly done with a cryptic caption hinting at the new wine. Following this announcement, Meghan headed to France for a swift appearance at Paris Fashion Week, keeping the focus away from her latest wine offering.
On Instagram, Meghan shared two photos showcasing her popular apricot spread and orange marmalade alongside the new Sauvignon Blanc in an ice bucket. The official As Ever website provided details about the white wine, which now adds to the variety of wines available under the Duchess of Sussex’s brand.
Described as “bright and balanced, with citrus aromatics, a smooth finish, and refreshing versatility,” the Sauvignon Blanc is ideal for everyday meals and special occasions. Priced at $30 per bottle, it is offered in sets of three, half cases, and full cases, aligning with the pricing of other wines in the collection.
While the release of the Sauvignon Blanc came as a surprise, Meghan had hinted at expanding her brand to include more wines in the future. The new wine launch coincided with Meghan’s unexpected appearance at Paris Fashion Week, where she attended the Balenciaga show, showcasing her support for the brand’s new creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Meghan’s attendance at the event sparked interest, with many questioning her presence, which was explained by her longstanding friendship with the fashion designer. A spokesperson for the duchess highlighted her admiration for Piccioli’s work and the collaborative relationship they share.
The introduction of the new wine marked Meghan’s return to the spotlight, emphasizing her support for creative endeavors in the fashion industry.
