The father of a 14-year-old girl who passed away following an alleged secret breast augmentation surgery without his consent has made a heartfelt appeal. Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo died in the hospital a week after the procedure, with her death attributed to complications related to a respiratory condition. Her father, Carlos Arellano, contends that the breast enhancement surgery was the primary cause of her demise and is calling for a thorough investigation, asserting that the operation was done without his authorization. Carlos claims he only learned about the surgery at his daughter’s funeral, where he noticed she had undergone breast augmentation and bore scars. He stated that the death certificate inaccurately cited ‘illness’ as the cause of death in an apparent attempt to conceal the truth.
Paloma passed away in a Durango hospital, Mexico, on September 20, as reported by NeedToKnow. Carlos expressed doubt regarding the swift issuance of his daughter’s death certificate, remarking on the unusual speed of the process. The certificate indicated the cause of death as cerebral edema stemming from a respiratory illness. Following the funeral, Carlos lodged a complaint upon suspecting there was more to his daughter’s suffering and eventual death, alleging a cover-up and demanding a thorough investigation into all responsible parties. The Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
In a separate tragic incident, a grieving husband has paid tribute to his late wife who succumbed in June shortly after undergoing cosmetic surgeries in Turkey. Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini traveled from Mozambique to Turkey with Elgar Miles for breast enhancement, liposuction, and rhinoplasty. The 31-year-old singer suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after the procedures at Tusa Hospital in Istanbul, leading to her passing.
Mr. Miles, who had recently married Mrs. Buldrini, mentioned that it was her aspiration to enhance her aesthetic appearance. Allegedly, the couple received the treatments in exchange for promoting Tusa Hospital and were reportedly socializing with the surgeon who performed the surgeries in Istanbul. According to Mr. Miles, his wife was rushed into surgery earlier than scheduled, just two days after their initial consultation. He expressed that due to scheduling conflicts, the surgeon decided to advance the procedure to Sunday.
Despite having been out the night before, Mr. Miles claimed his wife decided to proceed with the surgery. He stated that the surgeon assured him of no complications and a successful outcome. Mrs. Buldrini underwent the surgeries and was taken out of the operating room by 11 pm on Sunday. However, her heart rate began to decline, and Mr. Miles noticed a change in the staff’s demeanor.
Recounting the events, Mr. Miles mentioned being asked to wait for his wife for over an hour as the staff behaved oddly. Eventually, he was informed that Mrs. Buldrini’s heart rate was slowing down, leading to the devastating news of her passing.
