Greggs has announced the highly anticipated return of its Festive Bake, with the Christmas menu set to hit stores on Thursday, November 6. The Festive Bake, a fan favorite, is a delectable pastry filled with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
According to Greggs, the Festive Bake is a quintessential holiday treat that marks the start of the Christmas season, much like receiving socks in your stocking or attending a festive office party. The Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition), previously known as the Vegan Festive Bake, will also make a comeback, featuring Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and a cranberry and red onion sauce.
Adding to the festive lineup is the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, offering a convenient on-the-go Christmas dinner experience with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy. The Hot Festive Flatbread, comprising sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish in a warm flatbread, will also return.
For those craving sweet treats, Greggs will introduce a range of festive delights, including the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads. Additionally, customers can warm up with new festive hot drinks like the Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, available both hot and iced.
In response to rising costs, Greggs has adjusted prices on some menu items, including its breakfast deals. The two-part breakfast deal now costs £3.15, up from £2.95, while the three-part deal has increased to £4.15 from £3.95. Prices for certain baked goods, such as the empire biscuit, have also gone up by 5p. Earlier this year, Greggs raised the price of its sausage roll by 5p to £1.30.
