Must Read

A restaurant in Greater Manchester has publicized surveillance footage of two families who allegedly left without settling their bill of £190, claiming they had no means to pay. The owners of Sai Surbhi, Raman Kaur and Narinder Singh Athwa, stated that the families indulged in a variety of dishes before departing on August 30.

According to Kaur and Athwa, two individuals within the group attempted multiple cards and made calls in an effort to transfer funds, ultimately asserting their inability to make payment. Despite assurances of repayment the following day, the group has not fulfilled their commitment, leading to negative consequences for the restaurant.

In response, the restaurant owners have appealed to the public to help notify the customers of their outstanding debt. Additionally, they have shared CCTV footage of the alleged perpetrators on social media to caution other businesses in the vicinity.

Expressing gratitude for the supportive gestures received from the community, the owners emphasized the importance of raising awareness about such incidents. Reflecting on the impact, Kaur highlighted the challenges faced by businesses in similar situations, noting previous occurrences in their Preston branch.

The incident unfolded after the families reserved a table for four but arrived with double the expected number, causing inconvenience for the restaurant. Kaur emphasized the common occurrence of customers intending to dine and settle their bills, underscoring the need to address such issues promptly to prevent future disruptions.
