The Metropolitan Police is seeking public assistance in locating 11 individuals associated with disturbances near Whitehall following the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally led by Tommy Robinson in London over the weekend. A press release issued today stated that the police are interested in speaking with these individuals regarding various public order and assault offenses against emergency services. Detective Chief Inspector Natalie Norris of the Met’s Public Order Crime Team emphasized the ongoing nature of post-event investigations, highlighting the meticulous review of CCTV footage and other evidence to identify those involved in criminal activities.

DCI Norris urged the public to help identify the individuals under investigation, noting that some may have traveled from outside London for the event. The Met encourages anyone with relevant information or footage to contact them by dialing 101 and quoting CAD 4624/15SEP25 or by reaching out via Twitter @MetCC. Confidential tips can be shared with Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

The rally organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson drew an estimated 110,000 to 150,000 participants, with counter-protests also taking place. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer criticized the rally as “plastic patriotism,” expressing concerns over the impact on communities and emphasizing the need for unity over division. Starmer associated the event with Reform UK and vowed to champion the Labour Party’s vision of renewal.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage condemned the violence directed at police during the rally, describing it as “horrible.” He defended the majority of attendees as law-abiding citizens deeply troubled by current events in the country. The clashes with law enforcement resulted in injuries to 26 officers, with 24 individuals arrested for offenses including affray, violent disorder, assault, and criminal damage. Eight of the arrested individuals have been formally charged, while others are under investigation or on bail pending further inquiries.

The Metropolitan Police disclosed the names of the eight individuals charged in connection with the rally. The Mirror has reached out to the Met for additional comments.
