Shocking video footage captures the moment a female passenger on a flight was assaulted by a family after she complained about a child kicking her seat. The incident took place on China Southern Airlines flight CZ6164 from Shenzhen to Dalian on August 7.
According to reports, the family confronted the woman, stating she should have been more understanding towards the child’s behavior despite her complaints of continuous seat kicking. The situation escalated when the boy deliberately bumped into the woman, causing her headphones to fall to the ground.
In the video, the woman can be heard calling for the police as she is pushed to the ground and verbally attacked. Witnesses described how the boy’s family members, including his older sister and parents, joined in the assault. The father shoved her, the mother shouted at her, and the sister even pulled the passenger’s hair.
Efforts by other passengers and crew to intervene were unsuccessful as the altercation continued, leaving the woman on the floor with her belongings. The incident was confirmed by Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport and China Southern Airlines, with the airline stating that the crew onboard assisted in handling the situation.
Authorities were alerted, and the Dalian Airport Public Security Bureau is now investigating the incident. This incident follows another disruptive incident on Breeze Airways Flight MX704, which had to divert after a man allegedly made racist remarks and attacked passengers with a belt, causing chaos onboard. The flight eventually landed safely, and the disruptive individual was taken into custody by the FBI upon arrival. Passengers reached their destination in Los Angeles several hours later than scheduled.
