“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Renew Netflix Deal”

Must Read

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently inked a fresh agreement with Netflix for a “multi-year, first look deal” on film and TV projects. The couple referred to this collaboration as an expansion of their creative partnership with the streaming service.

Following much speculation about their future with Netflix, the new deal grants the platform first dibs on Harry and Meghan’s upcoming ventures. However, it has been viewed as a step down from their previous exclusive multi-million dollar contract.

In 2020, the couple sealed a lucrative pact with Netflix, reportedly exceeding $100 million. This deal resulted in the controversial series “Harry & Meghan,” where they openly criticized the Royal Family. Although the series became one of Netflix’s most-watched documentaries, the couple’s recent endeavors, like Harry’s polo series and Meghan’s cooking show, have not matched the same viewership.

Meghan’s latest show, “With Love, Meghan,” released in March, failed to break into the top 300 most-watched shows on Netflix in the first half of 2025. The lifestyle series, showcasing the Duchess of Sussex hosting guests at a California estate, faced criticism from many reviewers.

Only Meghan commented on the new deal, expressing her and Harry’s inspiration from their partnership with Netflix, which aligns with their vision. The couple disclosed several forthcoming projects for viewers to anticipate.

The second season of “With Love, Meghan” is scheduled for release later this month, promising a fun and heartwarming experience as Meghan welcomes celebrity guests for culinary challenges and DIY adventures. The show aims to explore bold flavors, new techniques, and ways to enhance daily life.

Fans can also look forward to a special holiday episode titled “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration,” set to air later this year. This festive episode will feature Meghan in Montecito, joining friends and family for a magical holiday gathering.

Additionally, Harry and Meghan’s production company, Archewell Productions, will present a new documentary-short film titled “Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within,” shedding light on orphaned children in Uganda’s Masaka region affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis.

Netflix praised the upcoming film for showcasing the children’s resilience, joy, and hope for a brighter future. Archewell Productions is actively developing various content genres with Netflix, signaling an ongoing partnership.
