Russian Official Dies in Mysterious Hotel Fall

Must Read

A high-ranking Russian official has tragically passed away after reportedly falling from a high floor at a luxurious hotel in Moscow. Alexander Fedotov, the former St Petersburg transport chief, was associated with Roman Starovoit, a colleague of President Vladimir Putin’s transport minister. Fedotov’s body was discovered outside the Skypoint Luxe hotel at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Reports indicate that Fedotov was on a business trip and staying on an upper level in the hotel. Authorities are conducting a criminal investigation, as no suicide note was found at the scene. Last year, Fedotov abruptly resigned from his position amidst speculation of an inquiry by Russia’s FSB intelligence agency.

Fedotov’s connection to Starovoit, whose death was controversially ruled a suicide shortly after being dismissed by Putin, raises suspicion. Both officials were part of the same group, as highlighted by the VChK-OGPU channel, which suggested further ties between Fedotov and Starovoit, noting the disappearance of another official linked to them.

The untimely demise of Fedotov occurred following the discovery of the body of Boris Avakyan, a wealthy former customs chief, who was found deceased in the Armenian consulate in St Petersburg. Avakyan, married to beauty queen Yulia Ionina, was involved in a multi-million dollar fraud trial before his tragic end.

In another unfortunate incident, Alexander Tyunin, a prominent executive from a military-related chemical company, was found dead from a gunshot wound. These recent fatalities among key business figures in Russia have raised concerns, with some speculating that certain purported suicides could be targeted killings associated with business rivalries.

The string of deaths involving influential individuals in the corporate sector has drawn attention to possible foul play and the prevalence of violence within business circles.
