Chocolate enthusiasts will be delighted to know that a leading UK supermarket has slashed the price of a large tub of popular chocolates just in time for the holiday season. Tesco has reduced the cost of a 600g tub of Quality Street by over £4, making it a bargain for Christmas and candy lovers alike.
Originally priced at £7, Tesco shoppers with a Clubcard membership can now snag a tub for only £2.95. The offer has quickly sold out online due to high demand but is still available in selected stores. Customers are encouraged to visit their nearest branch to confirm availability, as some stores are offering the deal at £2.95 while others have it at a Clubcard price of £4.50.
In addition to Quality Street, Tesco has also discounted a 550g tub of Celebrations Milk Chocolates from £7 to £4.50 for Clubcard holders. Similarly, the price of a 550g tub of Cadbury’s Heroes has been lowered to £5.25 with a Clubcard, down from £7. Clubcard members can also enjoy a reduced price of £4.50 for a 300g box of Celebrations Milk Chocolate Bars and £3.95 for a 270g tub of Heroes.
A Tesco spokesperson explained that online availability only represents local stores and urged customers to use the Tesco app to check product availability at their nearest store. Many shoppers have been taking advantage of these discounts, with some sharing their findings on social media platforms like TikTok.
The discounted prices are part of Tesco’s efforts to offer festive treats at more affordable rates ahead of the holiday season. Meanwhile, Nestle has revealed plans to reintroduce Quality Street chocolates in recyclable paper packaging, aligning with their goal to make all packaging recyclable by 2025.
