A spokesperson for the police department stated that officers were summoned to the Hitchin Town Football Club parking lot on September 6th after reports of severe injuries to two men. The fatal incident took place as the men were handling glass panels from a truck parked in the overflow parking area. The families of the deceased have been notified and are receiving support from authorities.
