Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift’s Provocative Lyrics

Must Read

Travis Kelce recently responded with apprehension to his fiancée Taylor Swift’s provocative song lyrics in her latest album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’ The 35-year-old singer included explicit references to her partner from the Kansas City Chiefs, mentioning his ‘magic wand’ and ‘wood’ in the track.

In the song titled ‘Wood,’ which stands out as the most risqué on the album, Swift sings about being enamored by her partner, stating, “Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He mesmerized me and opened my eyes / Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs,” among other intimate mentions.

During a segment on their podcast, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, questioned him about the song’s explicit lyrics regarding “his love.” Travis chuckled and praised the song when asked how he felt about it, despite the suggestive content.

Referring to the song’s focus on Travis’ ‘manhood,’ Jason persisted in seeking a genuine reaction from Travis, who evaded the direct question by expressing his admiration for Taylor and her music.

Despite attempts to elicit further responses from Travis about the song’s lyrics, Jason eventually acknowledged the song’s musical quality and humor, expressing his approval of the playful innuendos.

In a separate interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift initially claimed that ‘Wood’ began as a harmless song about superstitions but evolved into a more explicit track as she found creative inspiration.

Taylor humorously reflected on the unexpected direction the song took and praised its edginess, joking about the elevated ‘spice level’ throughout her album.
