“Trump’s Grand Welcome at Windsor Castle Amid State Visit”

Must Read

President Donald Trump received a grand welcome at Windsor Castle yesterday afternoon during his second state visit. Military honour guards and mounted troops greeted him and his wife Melania Trump as they arrived at the castle as guests of King Charles III. Prince William and Princess Kate were also present to welcome the Trumps upon their arrival at the Windsor estate.

The arrival was marked by a procession of horse-drawn carriages accompanied by military bands playing the US and British national anthems. Trump and King Charles inspected a guard of honor composed of British troops upon reaching the castle quadrangle. The UK went all out to impress the president by deploying 1,300 troops and 120 horses for the occasion, including the largest guard of honor in recent memory.

Following a lavish state banquet the previous night, the second day of the state visit saw President Trump engage in high-level talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Chequers. A press conference was held later in the afternoon in front of the media.

Amid the fanfare, protesters and supporters gathered outside Windsor Castle to voice their opinions. The visit concluded with a farewell as President Trump boarded Air Force One, marking the end of his state visit.
