Apart from his successful involvement in the blockbuster F1 film, he is now developing a TV show concept and a couple of animation films. Hamilton’s interest in creative projects beyond racing is evident, with his foray into music production and now cinema.
The F1 movie, which Hamilton contributed to, proved to be a massive hit, earning £479 million ($629 million) globally and becoming the highest-grossing sports film in history, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2. In an interview with The Ferrari Magazine, Hamilton expressed his excitement and deep involvement in the film’s production process, working closely with director Joe Kosinski and renowned composer Hans Zimmer.
Following the success of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films is actively engaged in the film industry, with plans for upcoming productions already in motion. Hamilton highlighted his passion for storytelling and emphasized the importance of presenting inspirational narratives during challenging times.
Sky has enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, now offering HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, along with 135 channels and comprehensive coverage of Formula 1. The platform broadcasts all F1 events throughout the season, including practices, qualifiers, and races, as well as exclusive coverage of various sports leagues.
In an interview, Hamilton underscored the significance of creativity in maintaining a balanced life alongside his racing career. He emphasized the need for creative outlets and finding inspiration to counteract the demands of a busy schedule. On the track, Hamilton is aiming for his first F1 podium finish with Ferrari, with the team currently in a tight battle for the Constructors’ Championship against Mercedes and Red Bull in the 2025 season.
