Today, the results for the December 2025 Premium Bond draw were announced, revealing that two individuals have each won £1 million.
Every month, there are two lucky winners of £1 million in Premium Bonds. In the latest draw for December 2025, the first winner hails from Norwich and possesses £35,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 591RD417238, was bought in August 2024.
The second £1 million winner resides in Cornwall and holds £20,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 615WP633178, was purchased in February 2025.
Premium Bonds, offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), differ from traditional savings products by entering holders into a monthly prize draw instead of offering a fixed interest rate.
Prizes for Premium Bonds range from £25 to £1 million, with the majority of prizes falling in the lower range. Winning a prize is not guaranteed, as the odds vary each month.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, congratulated the December Premium Bonds winners, highlighting the joy of becoming millionaires just in time for Christmas. The total number of prizes for the month exceeded six million, including various amounts up to £100,000.
Each individual can hold a maximum of £50,000 in Premium Bonds, with unique bond numbers assigned for every £1 invested. The chance of winning a prize each month is 22,000 to 1 per £1 bond.
Winners are notified of their prize via email or text message from NS&I, with options to receive the funds directly or reinvest in Premium Bonds.
Utilize the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app to verify if you have won. Currently, the prize fund rate stands at 3.60%.
The prize fund rate has slightly decreased recently, affecting the distribution of larger prizes, while smaller prizes have seen an increase.
Despite these changes, two £1 million prizes are still awarded each month. The most recent adjustment in the prize fund rate occurred in the August 2025 draw, now set at 3.60%. Nearly 23 million individuals hold Premium Bonds.
