A recent analysis by a royal expert characterized Prince Harry as lacking intelligence due to his business decisions post his departure from royal duties alongside Meghan Markle and relocation to California.
Nevertheless, another royal commentator, Jennie Bond, contradicted this view, asserting that the Duke of Sussex is more astute than perceived, as he and the Duchess have navigated a distinct path post-royalty. Criticisms from royal expert Tina Brown, a confidante of the late Princess Diana, highlighted the couple’s hectic professional life and Hollywood status unfavorably.
Brown, in a statement to the New York Times, expressed doubts about Meghan’s professional acumen and suggested Harry relied on her guidance but faced a series of poor decisions. Despite Brown’s critique, Jennie Bond defended Harry’s competence, citing his success in various public roles.
According to Jennie, Harry may not excel academically, but his intelligence surpasses misconceptions. She recalled Princess Diana’s similar portrayal and emphasized that intelligence is not solely measured by academic achievements. Regarding the couple’s post-royal endeavors, Jennie acknowledged their initial setbacks but praised their achievements in business and philanthropy.
Reflecting on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s transition to Californian life, Jennie remarked on their contentment with their current ventures and the family life they have established. She noted Meghan’s humility in learning from mistakes in her entrepreneurial pursuits and highlighted Harry’s dedication to charitable work.
As the couple embraces their new roles, with Meghan focusing on entrepreneurship and Harry on philanthropy, Jennie observed their happiness and stability in their current lifestyle, questioning any resentment towards their choices.
