Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in their channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has merged its Cinema channels, with Sky Cinema Animation now being integrated into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films in one place.
Despite the channel merge, viewers will not lose any content; instead, they will have access to all the familiar titles previously available on both channels. Favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will now be found under a single channel.
Sky has assured customers that all the content from the now-defunct Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, for those who enjoyed the films on Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a temporary return during school holidays on specific dates.
This means that during July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5, viewers can enjoy the channel once again, providing entertainment for kids when they are not in school.
