I enjoy experimenting with various foundations, tinted moisturizers, and skin tints to find the ideal base that enhances my skin’s appearance naturally with a fresh, radiant, and even tone.
This year, I’ve tested some impressive contenders like Dior Forever Hydra Nude and Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Tint. However, a new budget-friendly surprise, Collection Cosmetics Skin Tint priced at £6.99, has caught my attention.
Collection Cosmetics has recently introduced its Skin Tint, a lightweight, buildable base infused with niacinamide, squalane, and vitamin C promising instant glowing skin. Available in eight shades, it can be purchased from Superdrug and Boots.

As a makeup enthusiast willing to invest in quality products, I had reservations about the effectiveness of this affordable Skin Tint. Surprisingly, I found it to be truly impressive.
While I typically prefer using a brush for applying makeup, I discovered that this product can be easily applied with fingers as well, offering seamless blending and a natural glow.
The Skin Tint delivers on its promise of an instant glow, revitalizing my tired and dull skin after a long flight. It provided a refreshed look throughout the day, maintaining a flattering and natural appearance.
Unlike some other skin tints, I did not experience patchiness or creasing with this product, and it felt comfortable to wear.
Although not the most long-lasting option, the Skin Tint offers excellent value as a daily face base at an affordable price, despite some fading by mid-afternoon.
I hope to see a broader range of shades in the future to cater to a more diverse clientele. Our beauty team at Mirror has tested various skin tints this year, highlighting other favorites worth exploring.
