Zelenskyy shared images depicting the destruction of buildings, burning vehicles, and emergency responders aiding injured individuals. He vowed a decisive response to the Russian assault. The governor of the region, Oleh Syniehubov, confirmed that 17 people sustained injuries in the incident.

Notably, Russia has not issued a public statement regarding the attack. The assault on the village resulted in significant damage to private residences, a café, a post office, a store, and several vehicles, according to Syniehubov.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office revealed that Russia likely deployed two small Banderol cruise missiles in the strike. A local official informed the public broadcaster Suspilne that the central part of the village, housing the café, post office, and shops, bore the brunt of the strikes.

Meanwhile, Ukraine launched a large-scale drone offensive targeting Moscow and its surroundings. The capital’s mayor reported the deployment of 620 drones in one of Kyiv’s most extensive air assaults on the region. Russian forces managed to intercept 180 drones over the Moscow area, with emergency services addressing the crash sites.

The drones inflicted damage on a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce company Wildberries and other facilities near Moscow. Amid the attacks, several Russian-controlled regions, including Crimea, faced intensified assaults from Ukraine, disrupting power supplies in southern districts, as confirmed by Krymenergo.

In response to reports of British-made drones being used in attacks on Russian territory, Russia warned Britain of consequences for supporting Ukraine in the conflict. The Russian embassy in London cautioned that London’s involvement in the conflict would have repercussions. Britain’s Defence Ministry reiterated its commitment to aiding Ukraine against the Russian invasion, mentioning the planned provision of 150,000 drones by the end of 2026 under a funding package.
