A senior citizen who disappeared on the Costa del Sol before his scheduled return to Manchester has been located, as confirmed by his daughter in an emotional update.

Clifford Wildgoose, a former real estate magnate, was vacationing with a friend in southern Spain and was supposed to fly back to Manchester on September 21. Concern arose when he went missing after being last seen at Patrick’s 19th Hole Bar in Puerto Banus, near Marbella, around 2 am on Saturday.

Despite only going to Spain for the weekend, Clifford did not show up at Malaga Airport for his flight back. His daughter, Melanie Hall, expressed deep worry, stating that his friends had not heard from him and he had missed his flight.

In a recent development, Melanie shared a public message on Facebook announcing that Clifford had been found in the Puerto Banus area following a public appeal. She expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance, revealing that a passerby recognized Clifford from social media posts and contacted the authorities, ensuring his safety despite needing some medical attention.

Acknowledging the support received, Melanie thanked everyone for their efforts, emphasizing the effectiveness of social media in helping locate her father.
