Chris Brown reportedly accumulated a substantial alcohol tab while enjoying a night out with his group in London last month. The rapper, who unexpectedly appeared at a court hearing on October 24 before his trial for an alleged incident at a nightclub, was spotted at the Selene club in the city on October 10. The club later shared the bill on social media, revealing a total of £160,240.50.
The bill showcased the purchase of various high-end beverages, including nine bottles of Dom Perignon at £750 each, nine bottles of Belvedere priced at £500 each, a £5,000 Hennessy Paradis, five £2,900 Louis Roederer Cristal Magnums, and three Clase Azul Reposados at £1,200 each. Additionally, the order included two cases of Red Bull and three pizzas. While the club did not specify the bill payer, some attendees, such as models and other rappers, indicated that Chris covered the expenses.
According to a source from The Sun, Chris is known for his lavish lifestyle and doesn’t hesitate to spend on luxury items. During his recent court appearance on October 28, a judge granted him permission to return to the US while awaiting trial for an alleged nightclub incident in London in 2023.
At the Southwark Crown Court in London, Judge Tony Baumgartner modified Brown’s bail conditions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the stringent terms. The £5 million security fee imposed on Brown to ensure his presence in court remains in effect. Brown has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, including assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
His co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, also denied the allegations. The court granted both defendants permission to return to the US with a requirement to come back when summoned. Failure to comply with court appearances could result in the forfeiture of security. The trial is scheduled to commence on October 26, 2026, with the next court date set for January 28.
