“Passengers Chew Passports, Cause Chaos on Ryanair Flight”

Must Read

Two passengers aboard a Ryanair flight reportedly caused a disturbance by chewing on their passports after the seatbelt sign was turned off. The incident unfolded during a journey back to London from Milan, turning what was supposed to be a routine flight into a chaotic ordeal, according to a witness on board.

Describing it as the “scariest 15 minutes of my life,” the witness stated that confusion ensued when the two men at the front of the plane began behaving strangely shortly after takeoff. One of the men was seen tearing out passport pages and eating them, while his companion attempted to dispose of his passport in the toilet at the back of the aircraft.

Despite efforts by flight attendants to intervene, including pleading with the passengers, the situation escalated, leading to increased tension among passengers. The flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Paris, where French authorities detained the two individuals before allowing the aircraft to continue its journey to London. The entire ordeal lasted two hours and involved a thorough inspection of luggage.

The witness praised the Ryanair crew for their handling of the incident, noting that they remained composed and even provided drinks to passengers as the flight approached Stansted. Reflecting on the experience, the witness expressed relief at having safely landed and commended the airline’s response.

Ryanair has been contacted for a statement regarding the incident.
