In southern Lebanon, recent Israeli strikes resulted in the deaths of at least 11 individuals, as confirmed by the country’s health ministry. This incident marked the deadliest attack following a fragile ceasefire agreement in June to cease hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, despite ongoing attacks.
Apart from airstrikes and drone assaults, local residents and emergency responders have accused Israeli military forces of deliberately igniting wildfires that have been ravaging homes, woodlands, and olive groves in the conflict-ridden area. The situation has instilled concerns among the populace regarding their ability to remain in the area and the uncertain fate of the hundreds of thousands displaced by the conflict.
