The new cover art features Swift in a gold fringe minidress on a maroon curtained stage, surrounded by glittery showgirl-inspired fonts.
Leading up to the announcement, Swift dropped cryptic clues, including a countdown on her website and an updated social media bio hinting at the title of her next single, “Patient Zero.” She also engaged fans with a cameo in a sketch at the 2026 Emmy Awards, further fueling speculation about upcoming projects.
The new tracks for “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” were created during a studio session in Sweden with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, known for their work on some of Swift’s biggest hits.
