Must Read

As the holiday season approaches, thoughts of Christmas shopping may already be on your mind. While Halloween and Bonfire Night are still ahead, many retailers have opened up their festive delivery slots for booking, allowing customers to secure essential items well in advance of December 25.

Major supermarkets like Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and Morrisons have made these slots available to the public, featuring a wide range of Christmas products from traditional favorites such as turkey and mince pies to exclusive limited-edition treats perfect for sharing with loved ones.

With only 64 days left until Christmas, the Mirror has compiled essential information about Christmas deliveries from these key supermarkets, detailing available festive items and ordering deadlines. It’s crucial to plan ahead as booking cut-off dates usually occur several days before Christmas to ensure you don’t miss out.

While Sainsbury’s delivery pass holders could secure Christmas slots starting October 16, other customers can do so from tomorrow, October 23. Deliveries for both groups are scheduled between December 18 and 24, with the flexibility to modify orders until 11pm the night before delivery.

ASDA, on the other hand, opened its delivery bookings for passholders from October 15, with general bookings available since October 21. Deliveries are slated for December 21 to 23, and the deadline to add Food to Order products and check out is December 15, with the option to add groceries until 11pm the day before delivery.

ASDA’s online guidance emphasizes pre-ordering festive centerpieces to simplify the holiday food shopping experience, offering over 500 products in its Christmas range, including traditional favorites and exciting new additions.

Morrisons, for 2025, is showcasing a variety of beloved food items alongside new festive delights, such as ‘The Best Spiced Rum and Ginger Tarts’ and vegan options like ‘Maple Roast Chestnut, Cranberry and Orange Stuffing Balls.’ The supermarket’s Christmas Food to Order service allows customers to conveniently schedule orders for collection or delivery during the holiday season.
