These weather events follow a tragic incident where a young boy lost his life and his father went missing during severe floods in a popular spot for British tourists in Spain. Heavy rainfall and flooding affected various regions of Spain, with the Cataluna area experiencing the worst impact. The national weather agency recorded up to 20 liters of rainfall per hour, prompting a yellow warning.
Unfortunately, the body of a boy, believed to be around 11 or 12 years old, was discovered in the flooded River Anoia near Barcelona. Emergency services are actively searching for the missing father.
