“Prince Charles Snubs Prince Andrew, Duchess of York for Christmas”

Must Read

The King has made it known that Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, will not be part of the royal family’s usual Christmas festivities. Sources close to Charles revealed his desire to maintain distance from the couple, especially after it was disclosed that the duchess had maintained contact with Jeffrey Epstein despite publicly condemning him in 2011.

A source conveyed to the Sunday Times that while one cannot dismiss a sibling, it would be in the family’s best interest if the duke and duchess acted honorably this year. This decision has Prince Charles’ support, as he is reportedly troubled by the potential long-term damage to the royal family’s reputation due to the actions of the Yorks.

The King also expressed a preference for the couple to adopt an “out of sight, out of mind” approach during future family gatherings they attend. Recent events, such as their public presence at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral, where Prince Andrew was disregarded by Prince Charles, have raised concerns.

Prince Andrew did not participate in last year’s Christmas events following revelations of his association with a purported Chinese spy. Despite the King’s recent reconciliation with his younger son, it seems that forgiveness may not extend to Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, as their past actions cast a shadow over the monarchy. Friends of the duchess mentioned her remorse over any embarrassment caused and her intention to address the wider royal family soon.

The duchess’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, referring to him as a close friend and expressing regret for publicly criticizing him, has led to further scrutiny. Despite her previous denouncement of Epstein and his actions, her subsequent email to him contradicted her earlier stance.

In the past, the duchess had acknowledged an error in judgment regarding her association with Epstein and vehemently opposed pedophilia. However, her subsequent email to Epstein painted a different picture, where she apologized for any disappointment caused to him.

Allegations by the late Virginia Giuffre claiming sexual encounters with Prince Andrew under Epstein’s direction have been denied by the Prince on multiple occasions.
