Must Read

Sky customers in the UK are in for a treat as the new HBO Max service has launched, offering a range of popular titles like Game of Thrones and Friends at no extra cost. Subscribers with a Sky Ultimate TV package can enjoy access to HBO Max without the usual monthly fee of £4.99, providing a saving of over £50.

Sky has confirmed that customers with Sky Stream, Sky Glass, or Sky Q with the appropriate package will receive HBO Max Basic with Ads as part of their subscription. This service, well-known in the USA, features a vast collection of HBO dramas and Warner Bros. films, including both classics and new Max Originals.

To start streaming HBO Max, Sky Ultimate TV customers can easily activate the service by launching the HBO Max app from their homepage and following the on-screen instructions. For those not on the Sky Ultimate TV plan, switching to it is an option starting from £22 per month, offering access to over 130 Sky channels along with Netflix, Disney+, and upcoming services like Hayu.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the significance of this integration, stating that Sky is now offering a combined subscription for Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu. NOW Entertainment customers will also benefit from HBO Max integrated into the NOW app at no additional cost.

For non-Sky subscribers, signing up for HBO Max directly on the website is an option, with Standard with Ads plans starting at £5.99. This move marks a new phase for Sky and NOW, providing a comprehensive entertainment experience for viewers.
