A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a father and his baby daughter while the mother and son are currently in critical condition after the incident. The family, who recently relocated from North Wales to Poland, was involved in the crash that occurred near Olsztyn in northeastern Poland around 10 am on Thursday morning. The fatal collision resulted in the death of Krzysztof, 30, and his daughter Natalka.
The family, believed to have resided in Connah’s Quay, Flintshire, Wales, experienced the devastating crash shortly after arriving in Poland. According to Anna Buckley from the Polish Integration Support Centre (PISC) in Wrexham, the family had just returned to Poland from Flintshire. The mother, Justyna, 29, and her three-year-old son are currently fighting for their lives.
An online fundraiser has been initiated by a Polish support group to assist with the funeral expenses for the deceased young girl. The fundraiser has already raised over £1,000. The aim of the fundraising is to cover the funeral costs for Natalka and provide potential rehabilitation and psychological support for the surviving family members.
Buckley, the Director of the UK-based Polish Integration Support Centre (PISC), was involved in assisting the family in their return to Poland. She facilitated the passport acquisition for the two-month-old Natalka and organized their transportation back to Poland. Tragically, the family faced the devastating news of the fatalities of Natalka and Krzysztof in a car crash, leaving Justyna and her son battling for their lives in the hospital.
The community is rallying support to help the grieving grandfather with the funeral costs for his granddaughter during this unimaginable tragedy.
