Must Read

Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent upgrade to their packages. The new Sky Ultimate plan now includes complimentary access to Disney+, a service valued at £5.99 per month. Subscribers can enjoy a variety of content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel without any additional charges.

The enhancements don’t end there. Sky is set to introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its lineup soon. The integration of Disney+ across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience, with Disney+ content appearing in features like Continue Watching, search results, and voice control.

Moreover, Sky Cinema subscribers will gain access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For non-Sky customers, the new Sky Ultimate package is available to all UK households starting at £24 per month.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on March 26), full access to Hayu (available from July), and over 130 Sky channels. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the aim of bringing Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu together under one subscription to provide viewers with a unified entertainment experience.

Existing customers will receive the expanded lineup at no extra cost, and NOW Entertainment users will access HBO Max through the app without additional charges. Sky’s initiative aims to simplify streaming and offer a more cohesive viewing experience for its audience.
