Must Read

Rochelle Humes made a stylish entrance at London Fashion Week, showcasing a unique piece from the archives at the Marques Almeida show. The event featured models of different ages presenting a timeless capsule collection focused on sustainable fashion.

The runway show for the Spring/Summer 2026 season took place at 22 Bishopsgate, where Marques Almeida collaborated with Dylon Detergent to emphasize durability in their new collection.

Expressing her excitement about the collaboration, Rochelle stated, “It’s a special moment to witness the Marques Almeida and Dylon partnership. Taking care of your clothes is crucial to maintain their quality over time.” She mentioned that her daughter was already eyeing some of her favorite pieces, highlighting the importance of gentle washing to preserve designer items.

Dylon’s Triple Renew formula was used to wash seven pieces from the collection, promoting longevity and the tradition of passing down cherished clothing through generations. Marta Marques, the brand’s founder, emphasized sustainability as a core value, aiming to create garments that hold sentimental value, tell stories, and endure over time.

A recent poll by Dylon revealed that 81% of Brits own unworn items in their wardrobes, yet 99% continue to purchase new clothes regularly. However, there is a shift among Gen Z individuals, with a growing interest in vintage and pre-loved garments. The research indicated that 81% of 18-24 year-olds own handed-down items, with 64% intending to pass on their clothing to future generations.

This evolving trend reflects a move towards more sustainable fashion practices and a shift away from fast fashion consumption habits.
