Must Read

A gunman opened fire on individuals at an immigration center in Dallas, Texas, resulting in one fatality before taking his own life. Identified as Joshua Jahn, 29, he reportedly shot three detainees at the Dallas ICE facility, with police confirming four people were shot, leading to one death.

The FBI disclosed that bullets with anti-ICE messages were found near the shooter. Joseph Rothrock, head of the Texas FBI office, stated that initial evidence showed the rounds contained anti-ICE sentiments, marking a concerning trend of such attacks.

A witness described hearing approximately 20 shots while waiting for her husband at the ICE facility. Arianny Sierra, accompanied by her nine-year-old son, sought refuge under a car during the gunfire before being escorted inside by law enforcement.

Sierra, who fled her home country with her family to escape violence, expressed relief that her loved ones were unharmed. The shooter’s mother, overwhelmed with emotion, declined to provide details when contacted by The Independent.

Authorities are treating the incident as targeted violence, with Senator Ted Cruz condemning political violence and urging an end to divisive rhetoric targeting law enforcement agencies. President Donald Trump, via Truth Social, criticized Democrats for the shooting, emphasizing support for ICE agents and denouncing violence against them.
