“Luke Littler Aiming to Claim Top Spot Ahead of Darts World Championships”

Must Read

Gary Anderson has expressed his belief that Luke Littler is not considered the best player globally solely based on rankings, despite Littler’s remarkable success since his breakthrough at the 2024 Darts World Championships. Littler has been on a winning streak, clinching titles such as the UK Open, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, and Premier League.

Despite his achievements, Littler currently holds the second position globally, trailing behind Luke Humphries in prize money earnings. Anderson, in a recent Q&A session with Darts Corner, endorsed Humphries as the top player worldwide. Littler, acknowledging the gap in prize money between him and Humphries, remains focused on claiming the top spot ahead of the upcoming world championships.

With the world championship scheduled for December 15 at Alexandra Palace, Littler aims to build momentum for the event, having appeared in the last two finals. The final list of opponents for the championship will be confirmed on November 24, with the draw set to follow shortly after.

Sky has announced a reduced price for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering over 1,400 live matches, including at least 215 live Premier League games, providing increased coverage for football fans.
